How far can we stretch the boundries between modern materials and ancient technology?
This chair is an experimental attempt of combining two extremly different materials: Lime and styrofoam.Basic shapes were cut from styrofoam and plastered with multiple layes of a lime and marble sand, used in ancient building.
The result is a lightweight chair, put together from multiple pieces. It turned out to be very fragile and not suitable for day to day use.
