During her internship at Kunsthal Gent, designer Antonia Vincenza Schreiber took on the assignment to transform the seating experience at cinema OFFOff in Gent through. Fueled by a five-year quest for comfort, the project involved crafting seating cushions using pure wool covers and locally sourced wool from Gent's herding sheep. The wool was carefully washed by hand with the help of volunteers from the artist collective 019 Gent, embodying a sense of community. These 21 hand-filled and quilted cushions, each adorned with a label featuring the names of contributors, not only elevated comfort but also represented a collaborative and imaginative undertaking.
